Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the efforts and results of the Accounts & Finance Department in relevance to the assigned task.
- Overseeing the Accounts & Finance staff in the day-to-day operations.
- The incumbent shall ensure the maintenance of accurate financial records and assist in producing relevant reports and accounts.
- Ensure efficient and accurate analysis reporting on pre/post costing (job, product, and customer wise).
- Optimization of overhead costs by implementing robust financial checks and balances.
- Ensure the efficient and accurate generation of reports to be furnished in weekly and monthly meetings.
- Creating and implementing effective internal controls to reduce variances and improve optimization of inventory levels.
- Revision of the pricing structure and to coach and advise the sales team. To assist them to maintain an optimum sales mix in order to improve overall sales and profitability. Liaison with the sales team to come up with new strategies to increase sales.
- Conduct a weekly management review meeting to monitor and analyze the production performance numbers such as capacity utilization, production efficiency, raw material yield, stores & spares consumption, production supplies consumption, electricity cost per machine per production unit etc.
- Prepare the annual budget and manage the presentation of the unit budget after consultation and agreement with each department in the business unit.
- Track and ensure consumption of spare parts is accounted for in the relevant cost centers. Analysis of all cost centers and conduct resource cost revisions and relevant reporting.
- Reporting of slow-moving stocks and monitoring monthly stocktaking of WIP inventory, finished goods, stores, spares, and raw materials.
- Tracking, analysis, and reporting of utility costs.
- Provide support to Sales and Commercial teams with price requests, quotations, and tenders, and determining the price to win contract agreements or sale orders.
- Generate waste reports according to category and job-wise to coordinate with production to identify weaknesses, inefficiencies and to reduce wastage.
Job Specification:
- ACMA, ACA or equivalent
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in a reputed organization.
- ERP (Oracle/SAP) superuser experience, superior analytical, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
