Position Objectives: To maintain the Networks and all services (i.e. Active Directory, E-mail, Internet, etc.) provided to the Student in LABs and Faculty Staff at University Campus. These services include manage and upgrade of new techniques to facilitate users, also assists the Administrator for developing of rules and regulations, policy making and it’s deployment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Resolve/Administer server related and user related Helpdesk Calls on timely basis and ensure a log of all calls on Helpdesk.
- Acts as Team Lead for campus for the administration and maintenance of IT infrastructure as directed by AM Systems and IT Manager.
- Experience in Maintaining/troubleshooting Exchange 2010/2013 and TMG.
- High level of understanding of networking in a Microsoft Windows environment including Windows Server 2003/2008 ,TMG, clustering, virtualization, web technologies and storage technologies is required.
- Ensure smooth implementation of students email system by guiding and working in close contribution of AM Systems and IT Manager.
- Ensure implementation of Single sign-on.
- Administer/Troubleshoot internet and all other Services in IT Lab through Lab assistants.
- Serves as Team Lead for the administration and maintenance of WAN as directed by AM Systems and IT Manager.
- Ensure the technical support of VOIP setup installed at particular site.
- Eager to learn new and diversified technologies
- Serves as a Team Lead for troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery done by more junior Innovators.
- Performs complex troubleshooting, Data backup, archiving, and disaster recovery.
- Assists in the design, implementation and maintenance of systems, programs, hardware and software.
- Acts as Team Lead for creating network and email accounts, setting up laptops/desktops, and updating company phone lists and email address books.
- Administering of All Internet Bill invoices and Dealing with vendor smoothly and follow up their Payment etc.
Service Desk Administration
- Ensure smooth implementation of Trouble ticket system.
- Serves as Team Lead for the resolution of all trouble calls/emails and enters work orders into our tracking software.
- Get the weekly health Performa duly signed by the stakeholders.
- Manage and administer Juniors Staff work, Arrange training and evaluate their performance.
Asset Management
- Acts as Team Lead for inventory management of software licenses, software, hardware, and other IT supplies.
- Acts as Team Lead for the purchasing of software, hardware and other IT supplies as approved by management.
- Promotes responsible usage and care of university equipment.

Working Relationships: Manager IT, AM Systems, AM Support, AM Applications, All IT Techs.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Preparing Network deployment for any University’s any function anywhere.
- Trouble shoot network attacks
- Update Anti Virus Definitions
- Assist the Administrator or Asst. Manager to deploy the new servers.
- Rebuild or reorganize the crash services or servers
